From Echoes to Blooms

This project reimagines the ruins of a historic church as a multisensory community space designed to support and include visually impaired individuals. Rooted in themes of memory, renewal, and sensory experience, the architecture honours the echoes of the past while fostering new growth - both social and ecological. Through multisensory design principles the space becomes an inclusive environment where users can navigate, connect, and thrive. Sustainability is central to the design, with passive strategies and natural interventions promoting a sense of healing, belonging, and continual blooming from what once was.
