This project reimagines the ruins of a historic church as a multisensory community space designed to support and include visually impaired individuals. Rooted in themes of memory, renewal, and sensory experience, the architecture honours the echoes of the past while fostering new growth - both social and ecological.

Re-Touch

This project stemmed from observing a quiet ritual in Wednesbury marketplace: people instinctively evaluating objects through touch. This act of haptic perception made me question how we assign value — and how, in a throwaway culture, tactile connection is often missing from how we consume and discard.

The River Haven

Set on a site along the River Avon in Bath, this project was a response to the growing issue of social isolation among disabled individuals in urban areas. I developed an affordable housing scheme designed specifically for single, disabled residents, with the goal of exceeding universal design standards.

Chiaroscuro - Study - Lift
February 2021 • Paired Project
Working within strict spatial constraints and a focus on vertical circulation, this project was driven by the prompts chiaroscuro, study, and lift. Designed for an imagined architecture professor, the scheme explored spatial hierarchy and tailored functionality—balancing contemplative workspaces with private retreat areas.

The Bureau for Botanical Benefits
December 2020 • Paired Project
This community-centred project was developed during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on mental well-being and social reconnection through nature. In response, my partner and I designed The Bureau for Botanical Benefits — a public building that combined indoor nature with educational and communal functions.
